Commencing his career in the brand consultancy Alexander Dunlop and formerly the Deputy Manager Director of Research Solutions, Niall joined Ipsos B&A in 2007. He holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in psychology from UCD and the University of Ulster. He is a trained process facilitator in the area of creative problem solving and is a past chairperson of the Marketing Society of Ireland.
He is one of Ireland’s leading qualitative researchers. He works regularly in sectors including financial services, food and drink, healthcare and the travel. Across these sectors he has provided qualitative insights in relation to proposition research, consumer journeys, stakeholder research, advertising testing, decision making and customer satisfaction.
In 2016, Niall won the Marketing Society of Ireland’s Advertising Research Award for his work with the National Lottery EuroMillions campaign.
In 2024, he led the team that won the Marketing Society of Ireland’s Public Policy Award for The National Dialogue on Climate Action with the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications.
