After starting his career in TNS and then Drury Communications, Tarik joined the Ipsos group (then MORI) in 2005, initially heading up its Dublin office. He conducts market research projects on an ongoing basis for most of the leading Irish pharmaceutical companies across multiple therapy areas, bringing deep sector expertise and providing insights, evidence and guidance across the healthcare product lifecycle. He interviews HCPs and patients on a regular basis and is a frequent speaker on healthcare matters at industry events.
Tarik is also fascinated by the employee experience and conducts employee engagement survey work for a range of clients, as well as other bespoke projects for long-standing clients.
Tarik holds an Honours degree in Psychology from University College Dublin, a Graduateship in Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII), and an MSc (Executive) Masters in Marketing. He was the inaugural recipient of the MII’s Pat Cahill Award for services to marketing in Ireland and has won several Marketing Society Research Excellence Awards.
Outside of work, he spends too much money buying physical music and not enough time listening to it!
