Government satisfaction falls as cost of living crisis bites.

Satisfaction with the government has dropped three points in the latest Sunday Times / Behaviour & Attitudes (B&A) poll as the cost of living crisis has begun to make itself felt.

However, there is better news for Fianna Fail, with the party rising three percentage points to 24 per cent despite the Robert Troy controversy. The party of Micheál Martin, the taoiseach, remains adrift of Sinn Fein, though, with Mary Lou McDonald’s party on 35 per cent, down one on the last B&A poll in July.
