(The Longitudinal Study on Ageing) TILDA Wave 6 is now available.
TILDA Research significantly contributes to understanding the intricacies of aging, offering essential insights for evidence-based policymaking. These findings play a crucial role in designing more effective, inclusive, and progressive policies to meet the needs of Ireland’s aging population.
The latest findings from TILDA continue to captivate with insights revealing that quality of life remains consistent at 80 years compared to 50 years of age. Additionally, it’s concerning that almost 40% of older adults with high blood pressure are undiagnosed, underscoring the importance of such research.
With projections indicating a 60% increase in individuals aged 60 and above in the next 15 years, alongside a 20% decrease in those under 18, the significance of studies like TILDA for our future society cannot be overstated.
