Sinn Fein retains massive poll lead Sunday Times

Sinn Fein retains a commanding lead over both government parties in the Dail despite slipping three points to 34 per cent.

In terms of party leaders, Mary Lou McDonald remains the most popular leader with 48% of the electorate satisfied with her performance.

Micheál Martin is on a 42% satisfaction rating (down from his annual high of 50% in June) by the electorate, an insignificant increase of one percentage point on November, but he remains in second place. Leo Varadkar has still not recovered from the drop in his ratings in September and stands at 39% satisfaction level. Eamon Ryan stands on a satisfaction rating of 29%, down slightly on last month. Alan Kelly remains on 38% satisfaction.
