SF and FG vie for pole position latest B&A/Sunday Times poll

Around seven in ten Sinn Féin voters indicate that they are unhappy with the performance of Micheál Martin and Leo Varadkar, with just a quarter of them rating their performance positively.

Conversely however, marginally more Fianna Fáil voters (47%) are satisfied with Mary Lou McDonald than are dissatisfied (45%). A sizeable 40% of Fine Gael supporters also express satisfaction with McDonald’s performance as leader of her party, compared to 48% who are dissatisfied.
