Each month, Ipsos B&A’s telephone omnibus collects a range of key metrics on behalf of the EU Commission, in partnership with the Central Bank and the Department of Finance.
These include people’s perceptions of their own financial situation, their spending and saving behaviour, also their view and expectations in relation to consumer prices and Ireland’s economic performance.
1,000 nationally representative interviews are conducted amongst adults aged 18+, with timely data delivery requirements so that data for Ireland can be combined with that of other EU member states as part of the Joint Harmonised EU Programme of Consumer Surveys.
